Western Railway has announced additional trips of several Ganpati Special trains to facilitate passenger travel and clear the extra rush during the Ganpati festival.
According to a press release issued by Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vineet Abhishek on Thursday, the additional trips have been scheduled in response to passenger demand.
The details are as follows:
Train No 09013 Mumbai Central–Thokur Special (Karnataka) will run an additional trip on September 8, while Train No 09014 Thokur–Mumbai Central Special will operate on September 9.
Train No 09019 Mumbai Central–Sawantwadi Road Special will run an additional trip on September 9, while Train No 09020 Sawantwadi Road–Mumbai Central Special will operate on September 10.
Train No 09035 Bandra Terminus–Ratnagiri Unreserved Special will run an additional trip on September 10, while Train No 09036 Ratnagiri–Bandra Terminus Unreserved Special will operate on September 11.
Train No 09030 Valsad–Ratnagiri Special will run an additional trip on September 7, while Train No 09029 Ratnagiri–Valsad Special will operate on September 8.
Train No 09022 Udhna–Ratnagiri Special will run an additional trip on September 10, while Train No 09021 Ratnagiri–Udhna Special will also operate on September 10.
Train No 09114 Vadodara–Ratnagiri Special will have additional trips on September 8 and September 22, while Train No 09113 Ratnagiri–Vadodara Special will operate on September 9 and September 23.
Train No 09110 Vishwamitri (Vadodara)–Ratnagiri Special will run an additional trip on September 9, while Train No 09109 Ratnagiri–Vishwamitri Special will operate on September 10.
Train No 09124 Vishwamitri–Ratnagiri Special will run an additional trip on September 7, while Train No 09123 Ratnagiri–Vishwamitri Special will also operate on September 7.
Booking details
Booking for the additional trips of Train Nos 09013, 09019, 09030, 09022, 09114, 09110, and 09124 will open from Saturday, August 15, at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and on the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website.
The trains will operate as special trains on special fare.

Central Railway announces 246 Ganpati Special trains for Ganesh Chaturthi
Central Railway has announced 246 Ganpati Special trains for the benefit of devotees travelling during the Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 festival. The special services comprise 184 reserved trains with AC, sleeper, and unreserved coaches, along with 62 unreserved MEMU special services.
According to Central Railway, the special train plan includes 98 services from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), 76 services from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), 10 services from Pune, and 62 unreserved special services.
Bookings for the reserved Ganpati Special trains will open at all Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and on the IRCTC website in phases.
Reservations for Train Nos 01153, 01445, 01167, and 01447 opened on August 1, Train Nos 01165 and 01185 on August 2, and Train Nos 01103, 01129, 01151, 01171, and 01131 on August 3.
Tickets for unreserved coaches can be booked through the UTS system, while passengers can also use the RailOne app for ticket booking.
