Maharashtra Government aims at making Revenue Department citizen-centric

The Maharashtra government has launched a campaign to make the Revenue Department more citizen-centric, transparent and efficient, ensuring that government services and welfare schemes reach people at the grassroots level. As per a Government Resolution (GR), the Revenue Resolution Camp Campaign will be organised in every Assembly constituency across the state on any one day between July 22 and August 2, 2026.

The campaign is being held to mark the birth anniversary of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the birth anniversary of former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

During the camp, citizens will be able to access benefits under various schemes of the Revenue Department, the Central and State governments, different government departments and local self-government bodies.

The officials further said that services available at the camp will include those notified under the Right to Public Services Act, issuance of various certificates, registration of new voters, financial assistance under the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana and the Shravan Bal Seva State Pension Scheme, ration card-related services, Fisheries Department services, and issuance of birth, death and marriage certificates by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Information and assistance related to Sports Department schemes and other citizen services will also be provided.

The Mumbai City district administration has appealed to residents to participate in the camp and make use of the government schemes and services being offered.
